Barafu Hut, 4600m AMSL. Base camp for our summit push. We got there by noon-ish, had a late lunch, then slept until dinner, then slept again until the summit push at midnight.

Latrine that fell over at Barafu. No idea how it happened. None of them appeared to be anchored in any way, so I could imagine a strong wind could be enough to ruin somebody's day.

Sleet outside our tent on Day 5 at Barafu. It started to sleet and then snow in mid-afternoon. We were very worried that we'd have to make the summit push in the snow.
